VIA AC97

Hello

I will be building my first computer soon and will most likely be using the Epox 8k7a+. I was wondering about the sound quality of the VIA AC 97, is it any good? or would I be a lot better off getting a sound card? I dont need top of the line sound, just something pretty good since I do listen to a lot of music.

I'm using that board in my system and I think it sounds fine with my 2 speaker setup, havent noticed any problems. But I'll most likely get a Phillips A.E. before I get a 5.1 surround sound setup.
