660 Ti or 670?

New build, need a video card. On a budget. And I'm pretty close to limit.

I don't know which video card to get 660 Ti or 670. ??????
I want to get a card that can run near Ultra settings - no AA. And I can't decide which is better.
I primarily play BF3, Skyrim, Tera, Dota2, and occasional new game here and there.

Current Build:
i5-3570k
Asus p8z77-v lk
Kingston 2x4Gb 1600mhz
Samsung 830 128Gb
Corsair CX600W 80+
Antec Three Hundred
DvD-R Internal
Win 7 and Arctic Silver.

It obviously depends on your budget. $400 for a 670 and $300 for a 660 ti.
  2. The 660Ti is almost the same as the 670 maybe 7 or 8 percent behind and it consumes alot less power, if you interested in the ASUS version you can check out this video from Motherboards.org for synthetic and real world benchmarks.

Price is the limiting factor here so just get the one that fits your budget. I think both of them are a good balance of price and performance so that is not an issue.
  4. The 660 Ti is not the same as the 670. I'd say it trades blows with the 7870, and is beaten by the 7950.
  5. TH says it is 5% worse than the 7870 and Anandtech says it is better than the 7870. Idk who to believe.
  6. Like the others have said both will be enough to play the games you play on ultra the 670 is a little better but 100$ more MSI has an OC edition which looks pretty promising and I will be putting 1-2 in my system build coming up
  7. Watchout with your antec 300, my old computer uses that case and I can't stick a 6870 in it its too big.
