Hello,
I'm thinking of buying a desktop from PCspecialist and was planning on getting the AMD Radeon HD 7950 along with the PC or, getting a different make HD 7950 from novatech. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well the "AMD Radeon 7950 HD" is the actual graphics chip as AMD does not make the entire graphics card only the graphics processor within the card. So the card it self will be made by a separate vendor such as XFX, Gigabyte, ASUS, Sapphire, EVGA etc...etc... You will have to research the difference between these vendors as some may offer factory overclocks or different cooling solutions or even better quality boards and electrical components over other vendors.

The way the selections are listed without vendors leads me to believe that this builder operates as many other builders do and sources many different vendors based on price and availability as well as other factors. I would call and ask the builder what parts they intend to be using in your system and then research from that point on. Is there anything that is preventing you from building this system yourself as opposed to paying a builder to do it ?
