Hello,
i have a cooling problem so i thought about adding a second fan blowing the air through the heat-sink out the back of the case but my question is what would i secure this extra fan onto as the heat-sink does not have any factory fittings to incorporate a second fan but the heat dissipation is necessary

cable ties?

or screws--but those will bend some fins on the heatsink

will cable ties not bend the fins also because the extra fan runs at 5800 rpm its relatively fast

5800rpm would be unlikely unless its a tiny fan

the bigger the fan the lower rpm it will be

if its 80mm its likely to be about 3000rpm at highest speed

ok its a 78mm avc 478 cpu fan that i modded to get the molex connector onto then after testing it found that it was so loud i couldnt stand it anymore after a think i changed my case inc 14"(inch)side fan and 120mm front inlet fan no more cooling probs and yes the tiny 78mm fan was 5800rpm really loud though
