Approximate Purchase Date: Next Week

Budget Range: $600 Before Rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Internet, Movies, School

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg / Tigerdirect

Overclocking: Yes

Here's the build:

AMD Phenom ll X4 965 Black Edition 3.40Ghz Socket AM3
http://bit.ly/Pi9n9Q

Kingston HyperX RAM 8GB, DDR3-1333mhz
http://bit.ly/Pi9phY

Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD SATA
http://bit.ly/Pi9r9E

LG Internal 24X DVD Writer SATA
http://bit.ly/Pi9qm9

Cooler Master RC-430-KWN1 Elite 430 Mid Tower ATX Case
http://bit.ly/Pi9tOR

Corsair TX650W 650-Watt Power Supply

Corsair CAFA50 A50 Air Series Performance CPU Cooler
http://bit.ly/NCvwxe

ASUS M5A97 AMD 9 Series AM3+ Motherboard

Total: $595.81

Then I was hoping to buy the Radeon HD 6950 GPU at a later date, most likely a few weeks after I set up my desktop. Would this build allow me to run games such as BF3, Skyrim, Guild Wars 2, WOW, etc.. at high-ultra settings? Thanks!

I would go for the HD 7850 over the HD 6950, better performance at a similar price
