PS Display as a Monitor?

Does the Sony Playstation TV make a good PC monitor? Its 24" and a good price at $199 now. Any thoughts either way?

Well, it depends on what you have already I guess. Do you have speakers and a sub? Do you need the speakers in the Monitor? What resolution do you want to play at? Are you going to use it for heavy gaming?

Already have 2.1 Klipsch speakers and sub. Playing games at 1080p max, and as far as games go...dOTA 2..Starcraft 2...those types of games while streaming etc.

I could care less about the speakers. Looking to spend under $200 and 22-24" monitor. We're selling it at my store for $185, or order a monitor from newegg for 179.99 Asus. Didn't seem like a bad deal figured I'd reach out.

what Asus model from newegg... do you have a link?

my hunch is that the Asus will be better, but it's good to see the specs

Edit:as for the PS display, I don't care about 3D or 240Hz, just that it's 1080p@60hz with HDMI and quality image.
