Can PCI E 2.1 Graphics work On My PCI E 2.0

I am planning to buy an hd 6670 1gb ddr3. I have these following Specifications:
Tested on:
Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 560 BE
Ram: 4gb DR3 1333Mhz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P
(CURRENT GRAPHIC CARD) Graphic Card: Zotac Geforce 210 Synergy
Will HD 6670 Work on my mobo?? Please reply and suggest me some nice graphic cards under 100$. And can i insert a DDR5 Graphic card on my motherboard?? PLEASE REPLY.

Yes. In fact, PCIe 2.1 slots do not exist.

Also, your graphics card memory has nothing to do with motherboard, so you can use GDDR5 graphics card without any problems.
