How to get my security key for wireless

Hello,Ichanged my securiy level from wpa to wep to try to get my tivo to work thru a wireless g addapter it did not work and now my laptop willnot access my router I tried to return my network back to the comcast default settings but my laptop keeps asking for a security key I have tried my passphrase ssid security pin on the router I went to netgears web sight but could find nothing
