Advice on two monitors

Hi,

I am looking for a 21.5 inch monitor for gaming. I have come across two monitors that I like but am confused on one matter. One monitor is a LED BackLight LCD while the other is advertised as a LED Monitor. What is the difference, pros and cons of each, and which one is better?

There is no such thing as LED monitor. There aren't many differences, but the second one is better: higher contrast ratio, higher refresh rate.. That's about it.

The Asus VE228H 21.5" also has speakers while the other doesn't.

60Hz vs 75Hz is that really a significant difference worth $20 more?

There is OLED, but that's not what this is. OLED will be awesome once it's more mainstream, though.
