Dual Power Supply

I bought a gtx 295 to replace a radeon hd 5670 (both are old and crap etc etc I know). Anyway, I have one corsair cx 430w power supply and one thermaltake tr 430w and I was wondering if it would damage my gpu if I plugged the corsair's 8 pin power and the thermaltake's 6 pin power into the card (it requires 6&8). Any thoughts or advice would be welcome, thanks.

Theoretically it may work. But I am thinking it may be a load balancing issue. You got two currents running into the same system, and the grounding issues may be of concern. So basically both PSU's are going to literally fight and is possible to fry the components.
