I have two Nokia 6230 GSM phones (850, 1800, 1900 & 900, 1800, 1900); both
unlocked and both with 4.28. Overall it is a great phone - nice size, great
features, great performance.
I has one quirk which I have not seen discussed anywhere - and as both of my
phones have this quirk I believe it is not an isolated case. I have a SE BT
HBH-65 headset and it works very well, except that when I connect (either by
turning on the 6230 BT first and then the HBH-65 or the other way around)
when I activate "voice activated dialing" either by pressing and holding the
answer/end button on the HBH-65 or by holding the right soft key on the
6230, 9 times out of ten the voice activated dialing will hang up. I have
to turn off the phone and turn it back on. Then it works fine. I have also
tried a Jabra BT200 with the exact same result.
If I connect the BT headset and turn the phone off and then on, it works
fine. If not, the voice activated dialing hangs.
Anyone else experience this? Is this a known bug? Am I doing something
wrong. I have searched the news groups and have not found a reference to
this problem.
