OS: Windows 7 Home Premium £80
Motherboard:Asrock P67 PRO Socket 1155 8 Channel HD Audio ATX Motherboard £64.76
RAM: Corsair 8GB DDR3 1333MHz XMS3 Memory £35.00
GPU: Asus GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI Mini HDMI PCI-E Graphics Card £167.63
Processor: Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3GHz Socket 1155 6MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor £174.79
PSU: Antec 620W High Current Gamer PSU - 80plus Bronze 13.5cm Fan 3x PCI-E 6x SATA£71.56
Case: Antec 300 Three Hundred Case £39.99
=£633.74 plus 500GB/1TB hard drive

Kinda newbie at building a PC and would like to know if these components are any good. Aiming for high end gaming and might look into overclocking in the future. Would I need any fans or coolers without overclocking?

Current budget is around £600-£650

Thanks in advance.

That looks like a solid build. I don't know about pricing across the pond though.

As far as fans go you're good to go if not overclocking. The case will come with enough fans to keep your PC cool and the GPU and CPU both come with their own heatsink and fan. If you do want to do some overclocking in the future you can always buy a new CPU fan then and swap it with the stock intel one.

I suggest getting a Seasonic M12II/S12II 520W or VX550w by Corsair

Antec 620W Modular PSU is what he actually has, just labeled wrong with his link. It's based on the Seasonic M12II.

Ahh sorry about the mislabeling (now I feel like a complete idiot, lol).

I wasn't sure whether the case was big enough, if the motherboard was compatible or whether the power supply was enough. Thanks for the help guys.

Maybe you could afford an IvyBridge i5 and Z77? Potentially saves you from upgrading when SandyBridge is obsolete. Oh and make sure the RAM voltage is 1.5V and below, else you risk damage to the CPU and it also voids warranty. You may also want an aftermarket heatsink as you plan to OC.

I wasnt able to find the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO over at ebuyer.com, its an awesome cooler for cheap. Around 25 euros, I think. (its $30.)

Thanks again nw333 I'll look out for that in the future.

Another question (sorry) I may be able to push the budget up a bit and get the Asus GTX 660 Ti DirectCU II OC Edition 2GB GDDR5 but i notice the description says "ASUS GTX660 TI-DC2O-2GD5 extends the fansink to 2 slots. Please double check you Chassis and Motherboard dimension prior to purchase to make sure it fits in your system" Will this fit without any problems?

Yeah, it will fit Matt1234. It just means you won't have access to the one PCIe x1 slot just below the PCIe x16 slot on the mobo. The 560 you had linked in your first post is a double slot GPU as well. Most mid or high range cards are 2 slots these days.
