Should I replace the thermal paste on a stock heatsink?

I am getting my new FX-6300 tomorrow along with some Arctic Silver 5. Would it be better to remove the thermal paste on the stock heatsink and use the aftermarket paste? Would this make any considerable difference?

In my opinion you are better off with an aftermarket cooler, however you are going to have to remove your old CPU anyway and the paste is arriving with the CPU; you might as well spend the 90 seconds and apply the better paste. The AS5 paste is likely of better quality - measurable or not these small things give me peace of mind.
