Power Supply needed?

I have been seeing some pretty nice, cheap and basic builds on here. Power supplies always confuse me. What is too little or what is too much power for a build.

I need to know what amout of wattage of powersupply I need for this build because I just ordered this PSU 2 days ago (DiabloTek PHD450 450-Watt)

ZalmanZ9 Plus Case w/ Fan Controller

BIOSTAR A880GZ AM3+ AMD 880G

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 (stock fan)

Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

HIS H675F1GD Radeon HD 6750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express

  1. 450W should be fine, but the brand is horrible. DiabloTek is considered one of the worst named brands in PSU's.
  2. OK cool thanks, I will start searching for a another brand at that wattage. Thanks again/
  3. This is the PSU you bought?

Because you wont find a quality brand for that cheap. The closest comparison I can think of is the Corsair 500W, and its $60.

I am on a tight budget, But I will take your advice on a proper Brand power supply.
  5. The Corsair 430CX is plenty for a build with an HD 6750. It's also about 1000 times better than that original Dablotek garbage. It's very highly rated.
