  1. Hd 6850 will be bottleneck to that cpu.i reccommed to get hd 7750 or hd 7770.
  2. The pentium G620 is more than enough for a 6850. Both are powerful enough that it will not bottleneck each other. You're good to go.
  3. what is bottleneck here,6850 is much better than 7770
  4. Actually the 7770 is better than the 6850 - the only thing is the 6850 is better for AA. I wouldn't get the 6850, I'd buy the 7770 - much more power efficient, just as good, and it's affordable.
  5. I can't believe how often this comes up and people just spout incorrect facts.

    Do we believe Tom's charts?

The first 3 I looked at, I'm sure all the rest show the same pattern. I've never seen a chart with the 7770 outperforming the 6850, although I assume there must be some cases.

stock 6850 first followed by stock 7770.,2941.html

    44 vs 39.5,2944.html

    31.4 vs 23.5,2950.html

    28.10 vs 25.6,2968.html

    38.2 vs 35.6

The 6850 is quicker. No argument. But not by a huge amount, and the 7770 is much more energy efficient. So it depends whether better energy efficiency is more important than a few more fps.
  6. As stated by SteveH3671, the Radeon HD 6850 is overall a little faster, but it also consumes more power. Below are summary charts backing up that claim from Techpowerup. Note that the overclocked Sapphire HD 7770 Vapor-X does match the performance of the Radon HD 6850.
