Hey,

Basically, ive just done a fresh install of w7 on a new hard drive for my gaming rig,
but after downloading the latest AMD catalyst drivers for my cards, i cannot seem to access them or enable crossfire?

By default the installation is some new interface AMD VISION ENGINE CONTROL CENTRE, which if youre running an amd cpu and gpu, its installed instead of the normal CCC.

But, the VISION ENGINE CONTROL CENTRE, only displays my CPU information and has no options/menu for any GPU despite having 2 hd4850 1gb installed.

Ive checked in dxdiag, and it displays the card, i have also downloaded GPUZ and that even shows that both cards are installed BUT not running in CF.

Im confused what im doing wrong?
All i want is my crossfire enabled and the GPUs to appear....
Any help?

does the mobo sense both cards(assuming both cards are properly plugged in including 6 pins) and the crossfire bridge on. Also assuming if your mobo is crossfire certified as well.

Yes, both cards are detected and the mobo is certified.

Okay so I attempted to get a clean install of my drivers done,

I cleaned out all of the amd drivers using various tools,
restarted the system,
as the system loaded into windows, "new hardware" was being detected and automatically installed.

I then went and re installed the latest amd catalyst suite,
After installation i attempted to run the program
and i got this error message:
No AMD graphics driver installed or AMD driver not functioning properly etc....

What the hell is going on :S ??
