Im planing from upgrading my current system(motherboard, CPU and rams ) to the following

mainly to play guild wars 2 cause my current PC is not able to run it at max settings and i been waiting for that game 4 years =P ,
all my past parts are in good condition so i might try to selll them on ebay. but do you people think is worth the update for that price and is it a big upgrade?

yes, that i5 will run circles around the q8300, i did a similar upgrade from a C2D 3.0GHz -> i5 and (kept the same 5770 @ the time) my frames in all games increased, so im sure the same would happen for you.

even if you went with a Z68, your PC won't boot up, not without a BIOS update to make it compatible with the 3570K.

some Z77 board examples within your budget. otherwise, if you're insistent about that p67, the only options for you is either getting a 2500K, or, depending where you're buying and assuming they can do it for you, ask them to update the BIOS prior to shipping them out.
