Will 2 5550tis play games for a couple years?

I am thinking of getting 2 of these 550 tis

what psu will I need and will it out perform a gtx 480 and play games for 3 years to come?

I would say its only worth it if you already have one. A more powerful single card is usually a better solution than 2 mid-range cards. You should look along the lines of a 7850 or a 570, which would out-do a 550Ti SLI setup and run better, as well as more efficiency.

I'm assuming this is your budget, because this is about how much 2 550Ti's cost.

This is too expensive my main question is will it play games for 3 years on ultra with the rest of my system??

I would say getting a single card, like the GTX480 would be a much better buy, like so:

You would need to get at least a CREDIBLE 600W power supply, and not some cheap one. One like this:

But if $210 is your maximum budget, you are going to want to get a new power supply and a single card. This would be a good setup:

Exactly $210. With the 550Ti's, you would have to get a new power supply anyway. My buddy has 2 550Ti's, and he barely gets performance on par with my Radeon 6950.
