I have a homebuilt that I just bought off craigslist. It currently has a Kentek KTPS-750W. Just looking to get rid of this cheapo PSU and get something more efficient and a better build quality. Would take a downgrade in Watts if I could handle it.

In my rig:
-AMD Athlon FX-4100
-MSI 990FXA-GD65
-Sapphire ATI Radeon 5770 1GB
-8GB Gskill Sniper Series DDR3 1866
-1TB WD 7,200rpm
-1TB Seagate 7,200rpm
-Has a big Zalman aftermarket heatsink on it.
-Also has 7 blue LED case fans.

I may upgrade the video card to a 6950 or 7770. So add in a video card upgrade that is most likely to happen.
Looking for something that is atleast 80+ silver certified.

a good 500-600 watt will do. Corsair, Seasonic, Silverstone, Antec, XFX, PC Power and Cooling.

Why the Silver need? 80+ or Bronze is usually good enough. the energy saved over the life of the PSU from 80+ to silver probably won't pay for the increase in price unless it's on 24/7/365

Buy Corsair AX 750 (850, if you can afford it) and you, pretty much, can forget about buying other PSUs in at least 5+ years to come.
My personal recommendation (look at my builds in my "Profile", to get the better picture).
