  1. what is your monitor resolution? the best performance/price ratio goes to gtx 480.

The GTX480 might come close but it's really not worth it.That card is very outdated and a huge power hog.I don't think it's a worthy option if you want it to last for 3 years.

I think the best thing you can do is get a 7850.They are decently priced for the performance they offer and leaves enough room in your budget for a good PSU.With a 7850 you can get a steady 30+fps on Ultra but with no A/A or A/F.Honestly though I would rather play on High settings with full A/A and A/F.Isn't a huge difference between Ultra and High.As for Assassins Creed 3 you should have no problem maxing that out.

7850 BF3 Benchmark(notice the settings they used and resolution)

XFX 7850 $235=$220 after MIR + Free Shipping(2 Free games which is a really good value)

Having problems with my Internet right now so I can't look for a PSU right now.

what psu would I need??? Will it be a good option for 3 years to come?? Will it do like aciii on ultra???
  4. Well you could get a simple one, something like a quality 450 or a 500 watt and that would work fine but it's always good to try to add some futureproofing to a upgrade if possible.Seeing as how you have a Crossfire/SLI capable motherboard maybe you will want to Crossfire the 7850.Which would make buying a bigger more capable PSU now more sense so you don't have to upgrade it then.

    Here's what I would suggest.And although it's a just a little out of your budget it's well worth it,imo.

Corsair TX650V2 $90=$80 after MIR + Free Shipping

  5. Will my cooler master 460 watt run it??? I want to only spend around 50 dollars on psu ifpossible that is the bemifit of having a less power needy gpu. But if you can find a 750 watt for 90 that is the only reason i would pay that much.
  6. No it won't run on that PSU.Trust me, the extra money you spend on a PSU now goes a long way.

    OCZ 750watt

Can't believe I missed this one...

After the MIR that's a pretty good deal.
  7. That PSU will work but you won't be able to crossfire with it.
  8. Right, I dont want to xfire.
  9. I'm just saying it's always good to leave it open as an option in the future. You would have to replace it if you did want to making it a waste of money.

    Antec 620 watt= $70

    Corsair 500watt=$60

Both of those will support a single 7850 just fine.
