i suggest you to add 50 dollars to your budget and buy gtx 670 for 400 dollars.
or you can wait for gtx 660 ti if you want to go with nvidia.

@Antonisrsx the gtx670 is still nvidia :p

@Racoon i'd follow what anton said and get a Gtx670 if you can sell the 550Ti first and get a good price you may wanna try the asus top GTX670 version

I'd also suggest what anotnisrsx recommends, and that is the GTX 670.

The 660 Ti isn't even out yet. Only when it's benchmarked we can find out. Most likely it will perform lower than the GTX 670.

I doubt Nvidia would releast the 660ti UNLESS it performs worse than the 670... no, I got nothing against Nvidia... it just wouldn't make sense to sell a lower end card that performs better than your higher-end ones

I agree with you vmem. I also highly doubt that they will release the GTX 660Ti that will perform higher than the GTX 670. That wouldn't make sense at all lol.

barring special needs, the gtx670 is the best buy at the top-end. unless you really want to do triple-monitor gaming, in which case the 7970 is a better choice

to specifically answer the ops question, at this moment id say this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

hey 320 AR is a pretty darn good deal, great cooler, can oc to ~7970/670 levels usually (not that those cards cant oc even higher but im just sayin')

but yeah otherwise a 670 is the best top end just like was already said but thats gonna put you at ~400+

It's really dependent on your budget. If you can afford the GTX 670, go for it. Otherwise, a 7870 or 7950 is also good to look at.

+1 ^
The linked add for a HD7950 is a great deal though, so if you can't scrounge up $50 more $+tax I'd get the 7950

I like the use of the word "scrouge" there... ($20 in the winter coat pocket anyone?). I generally say "eat ramen noodles for breakfast/lunch/dinner/midnight snack for a few days"
