Clone mode on 3 monitors with Win7

Hello,

With all the many ports on modern graphics cards, we've been surprised that at least some only display "clone mode" on 2 out of 3 ports concurrently.

Can anyone verify there are cards that allow you to clone 3 or 4 outputs at the same time? If so, success stories and models would be much appreciated.

For example, the ASUS GT640-2GD3 has 4 outputs. It "sounds" like this could output on all 4 ports HDMI, 2xDVI, and VGA concurrently. Checking with ASUS support, and grilling about the 2 ports concurrently problem that we've had in the past, the guy says "oh, we don't do that any more." After further questions "Can you guarantee that we can clone/mirror displays?" He does some checking and says "well on 3 of them concurrently."

Anyone out there cloning/mirroring one screen on 3 or 4 displays? Please chime in.

I can confirm that the ASUS GT640-2GD3 (and probably lots of cards like it) can output on 3 ports a cloned display!

It will probably clone on all 4 ports, I have not tried.

I hope this helps someone.
