Installed AMD 12.7 beta drivers but catalyst says 12.6

The title pretty much sums it up here. Is this just AMD failing to have CCC recognize the proper name or am i really running 12.6?

When you installed 12.7 BETA, did it say installation successful?

If so, then it's completely normal. AMD may have messed up again because it happened with the 12.3 drivers.

well i just uninstalled and reinstalled it, same thing. Did a 3dmark 11 bench and reached a P8772 graphics with a 1050mhz clock. it also said the driver was not aprove so i'm assuming that i'm running the beta. have never reached the 8000's in 3dmark.

well thanks for replying, i just wanted to know if i was getting what i downloaded. i was excited when i saw the 7970 ghz review since i have a 7950. so i'd see similar improvements in framerates from the drivers. have noticed that 6000 series cards aren't as lucky tho.
