Why can i get a strong signal but no internet connection on one laptop but ok on

Hello, got a strong signal but can't connect to net, on a hp g60, after restoring factory setting

When you did this factory reset, did it go through a series of questions? Things like if you wanted to re-install all of the programs that came standard on it to begin with, or more importantly re-install of of the drivers for things like your network card?

If he signal is strong and you can see it on the laptop means your drivers are fine.
You need to check the WiLan adapters configuration and set the IP and DNS entries to Dynamic. The same goes for the Router you are connecting to (AP). It's DHCP ought to be on and the DNS ought to be carried forward to clients.
