Help with CPU and mobo combo.

Hi I have my 965be coming in now but I want to know if this mobo will be compatible, according to the ASUS website this mobo supports the 965be but it says it only suppots 125w cpu and my cpu is 140w, so will it work?

Normally it won't work. Maybe, you will have luck and it will work but it's not recommended at all.

You don't need to be harsh to the other guy lol, so it's a second hand old cpu...it's the the old cpu prior to the c3 revision, which is 140w.
That's what you get for paying used cpus.
