Hi Job_3 AMD is not the way to go right now. In terms of performance comparisons, they are just not a patch on Intel right now

HDD - The WDC Green drives are slower, 5400 RPM drives. You're better off with a Blue/Black one

If you're not looking to overclock your processor, you can save quite a lot more on the CPU, Board & also, the aftermarket HSF. You won't be needing that either. Total savings in that case will add upto around $100

You can keep your PSU, RAM and case. They are pretty good

GPU: For a gaming built, the card in your link is way too weak for any budget, much more so for $1000. If you do desperately need an SSD, get yourself one and drop the GPU down to a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB or a GTX 660ti.
