I have a slim dell computer with only a 250w power supply, so my graphics card options are extremely limited. It looks like the only two cards that will really work are the hd 4350 and hd 4650. I can't seem to find any hd 4650's that are in a low profile (for my slim computer case) that are also ddr3. So my options seem to be

- hd 4350 512mb ddr3 ($35 at newegg)
- hd 4650 1gb ddr2 ($136 at newegg)

I realize neither card is really great, but I'd like to be able to do some low level gaming without buying a new computer. Which of these cards is better suited? And assuming the 4650 is better even though it is ddr2 as opposed to ddr3, is it worth the $100 price difference?

Thanks!

yes for your old system hd 4650 will make a definite upgrade
although it is not a recommended upgrade because amd recently dropped support for hd 4000 sereis
youll be better of with a hd 6450 or hd 5450

I'd love to get either of those cards, but the specs I find for them indicate they both need a 400w power supply. My crappy dell only has 250w.

I did find an ati hd 4650 for only a bit over $50 at the retailer link below. Should I be concerned about anything. The merchant seems has good reviews on google. The price just seems a little too good to be true since the low profile version is over $100 everywhere else.
