EVGA GeForce GTX 580 CLASSIFIED ULTRA

Hello,
I'm currently an owner of EVGA GeForce GTX 580 3072 MB GDDR5
I was planing to make an SLI by adding EVGA GeForce GTX 580 CLASSIFIED ULTRA 3072 MB to my set up
and making sure the classified is my primary card

so I'm wondering would that be a good idea
or shall I stick with making an SLI with 2x EVGA GeForce GTX 580 3072 MB GDDR5?

in SLI you're only as fast as your slowest card. so I think you're better off saving a few dollars and going with the regular 3GB 580. I doubt the classified ultra edition will bring you extra performance

Well it's up to you, but you want your cards to both be running at the exact same frequency when running in SLI. So if you don't always have them in SLI mode and you use them independently for different things sometimes it might be a good idea. But if you're sticking with SLI all the time I wouldn't do it. Get a matching card.
