Setting up an ssd?

That motherboard will run an SSD at the full SATA 6GB/s.

The only thing you really need to remember - first off, get a Marvell based drive like the Samsung 830 or Crucial M4. And then when you go to install Windows - let Windows do the formatting, do not perform a full format. Quick formats only. Also do not do anything that drastically distorts your drives' read - write times (extensive benchmarks, defragmenting, full formatting, etc). And do not load your drive above 80% capacity. Otherwise they work pretty much like normal hard drives.
