does the links have all of the included options that you chose? if so then the laptop would actually be faster at gaming bc it uses intel 3000 graphics and the desktop only has an AMD A4-3400 APU which is slower than intel 3000 (someone correct me if I am wrong).....I would def not go with a desktop with onboard graphics for gaming...someone on here did a review of the intel 3000 in mw3 his was OC'ed but it will give you an idea

thats still not made for gaming....to get good results in games you need a dedicated graphics card. what games are you going to be playing? and at what res....no matter what it would be wise to get a dedicated card even really low end dedicated cards will run laps around integrated

yea there is pretty much no way you would be able to play bf3 with an integrated graphics option you def need to have a dedicated graphics card....can you tell me what your budget is? and are you willing/able to build it yourself or do you not know how?

You are still using the iGPU on the processor...that is the most important thing when it comes to gaming...you NEED a dedicated graphics card....with that iGPU you would get like 15fps at low res and all super low settings...iGPU's just do not cut it...just add a dedicated GPU into that system and you would be good to go (i would replace the cpu with an intel one though those amd chips are not very good for anything except low power htpc's)

Like drums101 said, no way you can play bf3 with an integrated video card. id say maybe a nvidia 500 ti or radeon hd 5770 (minimum) or maybe a 7770, my friend plays on a radeon hd 4670 on minumum with 20 to 30 fps ( dont know how he can stand it), so no way you can play bf3 on integrated. hope this helps

you never answered my question above....are you willing/able to build the system yourself? it will save you some cash if you can do it yourself rather than buy a prebuilt one...also does this pc need to include monitor and keyboard/mouse?

ahh ok yea man they are all standard you just need to find a case that looks attractive to you. here are a bunch of links to parts...the total comes out to $585 without the case and before rebates. ($20 bucks in rebates)

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116406
MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130639
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104221
HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136769
DVD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827151244
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182199
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102948
Windows: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116986

I didnt include a case bc you should pick out one that looks good to you but here is a suggestion that is cheap and I have used before
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147123

this would bring you in slightly over budget ($620) so if you have to stick to $600 exactly you could get this GPU instead
