For gaming, and future gaming, theres no point in the i7 at all. Games still for the most part are not utilizing the 4 physical cores of a quad CPU, let alone the virtual ones of the i7. By the time this happens, the i7-3770K will be long outdated (if it happens at all).

For the other stuff like rendering, honestly the i7 is better. Also the cpu having the k are for overclocking so if you don't plan on overclocking don't waste the money on buying you would want i7-3770 or i5-3550 CPU chart:

no problem your welcome! As far as your build goes it's very good the i7 is not needed for gaming and you can run two 670 on a 750w i would recommend you get 650w for a single 670 and 750w for two 670's the motherboard is awesome i have it and love it here my proof about the 670 power requirements nVidia itself recommend 500W for a single 670. Add 170W for SLI & recommended is 670W.

Well no I was not planning on overclocking anything really. Part of the reason why I chose the i7 and also so I would not have to actually buy it later on :) But I might choose one or two versions lower than it. I will run ARMA II and III hoperfully along with HD PhotoshopCS4 files and flac recordings.

I might buy more ram so for now I will keep that PS.

Hmm, very tempting. I mightchange over to the i5-3570k. I guess after seeing similar AMDs and the i5 itself run AMRA II very well etc... It kinda makes sense.

It is only about $100 difference tho.

So hard to decide!
