How does this Build Look?

Hello, im building a gaming pc and i got it around my price range 550 dollars if anyone has any suggestions on how to make it better that'd be great.

specs:
CPU Intel Core i5-2400 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor,

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2H Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

Memory Mushkin Silverline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory

Hard drive- Seagate Barracuda 1.5TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card- EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB

Case Raidmax ATX-615WUP ATX Mid Tower Case w/500W Power Supply

Optical Drive LG GH24NS90 DVD/CD Writer

what parts do you not need and where do you live? i can probably build something better

with 550$ you can do better. there is no real point in pairing a quad core cpu with a low end gpu, because the gpu wouldnt be strong enough to hit those games that would give you a bottleneck.

to be honest, i want to build it my self i have never built one before and i really wanna try, i just want to know if this is a goo build or not all i want to be able to do is play skyrim better than i can on my laptop and pretty much max out minecraft and preform pretty good in almost every other game i may play and from what ive researched it looks good i just want an extra set of eyes to tell me if its good or not

first thing is to not use a case with a built in psu
