Wires loose

Hello;

I bought a new power supply but there are 1 red and 1 yellow wires loose on the 24 pin connector.
I've checked all the wires and they are all connected properly(nothing missing), so would it be just wires left over with nothing to do?

it is corsair, and i'm sorry but can't post any pictures.

the loose wires are thiner than the regular wires connected to the 24 pin.
