Video Card Overheating

So I just installed an MSI ATI Radeon 6670 on my computer, and after about an hour or so of playing Diablo 3 on the lowest settings, I get a blue screen and the computer restarts. I am assuming that the video card is overheating. I looked at the graph from MSI Afterburned and the usage shoots up to the top when on the game. Ive tried lowering the resolution and that seems to prevent the usage from shooting up so high while playing. However, I've read that playing on lower resolutions causes the CPU to do more of the work. Any help is appreciated

when you run diablo3, the gpu usage is meant to reach up to the top around 90-99%. Its the gpu temp you should be worried about. What is the actual reading of the gpu temp during gameplay? You psu is more than enough for that gpu so I guess the problem lies somewhere else. Try running the following apps-

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Benchmarks/IntelBurnTest.shtml for at least 5 threads to find out if the cpu is working well.

Run http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/ to find out if the gpu is working well. Monitor and record the max gpu temp during furmark stress test.

Run http://www.memtest86.com/download.html to find out if the memory is doing well.

let us know how everything goes.
