Approximate Purchase Date: within the month

Budget Range: around $1000

System Usage from Most to Least Important: FL studio, Premiere Pro, AE, Photoshop,

Are you buying a monitor: Yes / No

Parts to Upgrade: (e.g.: CPU, mobo, RAM) **Include Power Supply Make & Model If Re-using**

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: doesn't matter

Location: Columbus, OH

Parts Preferences: none

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Uneducated haha

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: As I understand it, Half of cs6 utilizes CUDA cores (why i chose the gtx 570) but photoshop and speedgrade only use opengl/cl so the gtx 570 would be useless. Confused on this selection because of that. Also, how should I go about buying fans for my case?

Why Are You Upgrading: Desire to learn to build and my laptop wont run cs6 well

No you wouldnt have to CF for something like this, if you were gaming you would have to but not for music production
