Not going to use CFX - does my MBO and PS have to support it anyways?

Might be a newbie question but I'm planning to build a computer using the Visontek Radeon hd 5770 (900431), which supports CrossfireX - is it still usable as a Graphics card if my Motherboard and Power Supply do not support CrossfireX? Especially since I am not planning to use CFX at all?

you are fine as long as you have a pcie x 16 slot on your motherboard.
crossfirex is for multiple cards only and doesn't apply to a single card, although the card is capable.
