Core i3 540 Temp.

hello,

i am using cpu with stock cooler and at full with prime95 temp. reaches 75 deg. and while playing games it is about 70, is that okay or should i upgrade my cooler. if i upgrade to hyper tx3 evo, i'm able to OC it or not, my target OC is 3.6ghz.

Those temperatures are perfectly fine. No need to spend money on a different heatsink. Unfortunately i3s cannot be OCed so no need to start thinking about that.

I came across this post, and sorry, but you dont know what ur talking about. i got a first gen i3/540 oc'd to 3.6

You may not know, but there are nicer ways to let people know their answer was incorrect. Reviving a thread that's more than 3 years old isn't justified; by now the OP probably upgraded to a newer platform.
