Acer laptop 7250 restore failed- error code= 0x241

After free trial of mcafee on new laptop was over I downloaded and installed a paid but different version of mcafee that I'm using on other pc's on homenetwork After the install screen went black with an error message saying a file was corrupted and asked me for system disks. I've put disk in and attempted to run thru the acer eRecovery management it gets so far and stops and error box pops up saying the restore failed error code=0x241 (WIMApplyImage cannot apply image:windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged
This all started after installing McAfee Security Center and the virus scan part it was not able to install it for ? reason
