As you get older, your hands aren't as nimble as they once were and now I'm having trouble with installing and removing the HSF.
This should be something you'd only worry about once, but I've had compatibility issues with some add-in boards / mainboards and have had to change CPUs and mainboards out frequently in response to requests from tech support personnel.
Complicating the process is the stickiness of the artic ceramic thermal past, so I've even had CPUs stick to the heatsink upon removal and bent pins.
So one of the things I'd like to find, for my Bulldozer GA-990-FXA-UD7 is a HSF that's really easy to install and remove.
I don't OC / not a gamer so max cooling is not even a big requirement. The stock AMD HSF is nice and small so you can see around it, but it's already under significant tension by the time you get the initial latch, making even that somewhat difficult to accomplish.
