Let's say I run a game (Deus Ex: Human Revolution) on my 30" LCD TV with a resolution of 1200x720. Now, let's say I run the same game with the same setup on a smaller screen (22" Screen).
With the heat and temperature on the GPU be higher on the former? Or will it be the same?
The reason I ask is because my computer automatically shuts down sometimes while I'm playing on LCD TV but not on the monitor (Though I can't know for sure; sometimes it shuts off after five minutes, sometimes after five hours; maybe the monitor is still faulty, except I haven't stuck around long enough to find out). I figured it was because the GPU has to push harder to render on a 30" screen, but if it's the same resolution, it shouldn't matter, right?
And no, it's not a PSU, RAM, or CPU problem: Those are all in working order.
