BTW, I'd order it from newegg, looking at MicroCenter's website, they're a hell of a lot cheaper, and with free shiping.

Up to you, but why not just buy both from Newegg? My experience with MicroCenter is that they sell some stuff cheap just to get you in the door (mobos and CPUs) and jack up the price on other stuff to make up for it. In this case the power supply, seriously, all of their Corsair TX series PSUs are substantially more expensive from MC than newegg. You might find the video card isn't any cheaper there either.

Yea...

Something like a 7870 might be a good investment.

What is current PSU?

Just saying $60ish for PSU and $140ish? for GPU is around $200. Might be better idea to just use your current PSU and get a better card. 2x550s doesn't equal that good.

^ Yea, get a good PSU, that thing wouldn't make a suitable anchor for a rusty canoe.

I'd honestly go at least 660TI 7870 to really justify the upgrade. Yea, the 6870s/560 TIs are better, but hard to really justify throwing the money down. Unless you can find another use for your 550 TI.

get a good PSU and them look at a 560ti (overclocked non-reference) 7850 or 570.
or save a few more bucks and get a 660ti or 7870

a 6950 wouldn't be bad either. a good 570 or above will give you close to a 550ti performance.
