Hey guy! I have a need for a computer that can do some not super intense Adobe After Effects work. Also probably some gaming. I have about $1000 to spend, I won't need a monitor, and I would like to preferably use an SSD, I hear that speeds up the time the programs will load.

What would be your ideal setup for that? Thanks!

I was thinking about the following.. I don't know which video card to pick, nor do I know what case to choose. Do you guys have a favourite case? Something subtle, but with a window might be nice? Do these parts work together?

PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fdPa

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($279.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro3 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($94.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: OCZ Vertex 4 256GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($189.00 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Antec 620W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($82.47 @ Amazon)
Total: $736.44

Thanks in advance:)

$1k Budget Rig

Just play with the graphics card a bit. I have a fairly big one in there that I should replace with the 660 ti, but if it is too over budget you can easily go with a lower card and still get good performance.

Edit: There we go now its a beast. If you can squeeze that extra $100 out, you would be set for a long time. The Agility 4 128GB also has a crazy rebate and is only $69.99. You could cut out about $50 by going with a cheaper case also.
