Hello,

my product key is on the back of my acer laptop but when i enter the code it says invalid. what is the problem?

Is the version of the product key the same as the version of windows you have installed?

Have you used this code already? If so... you will need to contact Microsoft and explain the situation. They will then give you a new number to enter in if everything checks out.

That key should only work with the OEM disk of Windows that came with your computer, or the restore setup on the hard-drive. If you are trying to use a different disk or install it on another computer, the code won't work.
