Tik tik sound is coming from my cpu.

hello, Tik tik sound is coming from my cpu.i think its coming from power supply.its just came during system booting and windows loading screen.It usually comes when i start my pc after some hours and don't come even when i restart my pc.
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E74 @ 2.80GHz
RAM 2GB
Graphic card NVIDIA GT 520 1GB

How can it be coming from your CPU but you think it's power supply? Do you just mean computer?
Anyway, was this system custom built? Did you buy it from a company like Dell? What brand of PSU is in there?
EDIT: Also, have you dusted it?

I am by no means an expert but I don't think that a sound like that could come from the CPU.
My guess is that it is coming from the hard drive.
Try unplugging your hard drive (or one of them) and then starting your computer.

i had only 1 hard drive in my pc and i don't think its coming from my hard drive.its coming from rare of my cpu.its very sharp sound and also usually produced after sudden power cut-off.
