How can it be coming from your CPU but you think it's power supply? Do you just mean computer?
Anyway, was this system custom built? Did you buy it from a company like Dell? What brand of PSU is in there?
EDIT: Also, have you dusted it?

My guess is that it is coming from the hard drive.
Try unplugging your hard drive (or one of them) and then starting your computer.


i had only 1 hard drive in my pc and i don't think its coming from my hard drive.its coming from rare of my cpu.its very sharp sound and also usually produced after sudden power cut-off.
