Any past experiences with XFX Radeon HD 6870?

Anyone have any complaints or compliments about this Graphics card as a gaming card?

I'm looking to upgrade my Radeon HD 6750, to this specific card.
Heard it had heat issues. But not sure!

MSI are the top brands.

What!? MSI are a great brand and they come with excellent warranty (lifetime).
They use high quality parts to manufacture they're GPU's.

I have the XFX HD 6870 Black Edition ( The single fan one ) and out of the box it have a 940/1150 OC.

The XFX 6870 has been very good to me. Although they have been known in the past to not have the highest quality products, they have picked up their game and have one of the best warranty's available (warranty still applies if you swap to an aftermarket cooler).

This being said, I would get the 2 fan version. The single fan version (that I have) is good but it's pretty loud.

Agreed, the fan is quite loud and becomes noticeably audible at around 45%-50% fan speed, though 35% fan speed keeps my card as cool as it needs to be.

quality of xfx products r not that good with respect to price tag. u will get better ones from other makers within the same range.
