Hi, I just finished my build, but it turns out the PSU isnt enough wattage to power it (600watts). I was thinking if i didnt use one of the fans until i get a new PSU, will it overheat? Heres the build:http://pcpartpicker.com/p/eCPe

Thanks!

As long as you don't overclock, 1 fan will keep the system cool enough to operate. However, your PSU is going to be a problem regardless. You really need to upgrade it.

Really? That PSU should be able to power alot more than what you have listed. What exactly is going on?

DarkOutlaw is right. I missed the second PSU (Corsair) in addition to the one included with the case (400w). It should more than meet your original needs with all fans connected.

Truthfully even the 400w should possibly be able to run everything...unless the 6850 is more of a power hog then I am thinking.

The case and power supply are unsuitable

Its a very cheap powersupply design and the quality is not high

You should only use 80+ bronze rated or better units for efficiency and stability
And the minimum requirement for a computer with a Radeon 7850 is 450 watts

So your saying, 600 Watts would run it, its just I have a bad PSU?

Actually I'll retract that one for now...I think he means the 400W PSU is crap, which it is. Your 600W should be more than enough. If you could tell us a little more about what is going on maybe we can help you figure that out. On your parts picker list it says you have a 600W PSU? If you do not have this PSU listed, then yes your 400W will not cut it even if you unplug the fan. Could you clear things up a bit for us?
