and your current GPU?

in all honesty I think you will be fine. I was running my 7850 originally off a Cheap OCUK branded 450W PSU for months with no issues. till I bought the Ocz off my brother because i was going to a Phenom II x4 had a AThlon II x4 645 before hand just wanted to be that lil bit safer :D

and as far as I know the I5 2400 is more energy efficient than my Phenom II x4 965 BE.
i think it should handle your card just fine. i havent used CM psu's before, but i have used a 550w gigabyte odin on a gtx260, and a 260 is a beast (power hog lol). not sure how it compares to 7850 in terms of power consumption, but hope it gives you an idea.

i was also on OC then for my cpu. but if i may, get a seasonic, at least 600w for peace of mind, if you have extra green

IF you already have that PSU it's going to be fine you will have no issues trust me. Don't fork out money on a new PSU when the one you have is capable. yes CM Don't make the best quality psus afaik but it should be more than capable.

I have a similar PSU Ocz ModXstream 500W with similar Amp rating and have no issues running my AMD Phenom II x4 965 @ 3.8ghz & a 7850 2gb @ 1100/1250

what is the rest of your system?

The OCZ has reviews that it delivers what is promised and has 432watts available on the +12 volts. CM extreme power has troubled reviews and only has 360 watts available on the + 12 volts, so not really comparable.
Regardless the CM specs are sufficient to run HD7850 but it is it lack of quality and protection that is worrying.
