I wasn't sure where to ask this question or even if you answer TV questions but here goes:
My TV in the bedroom stopped putting out audio yesterday. It worked fine when I woke up but when I turned it on again before bedtime, no sound comes from it in the Direct TV mode. When I put it on HDMI Netflix, the sound is fine. It just doesn't work for my stations.
I hooked up another TV to it and the same thing, it's fine and working on the ROKU Netflix but regular channels have no sound. I have fresh batteries in all remotes. I have it hooked up to the Direct TV box, and the ROKU and that's all.
Nothing has changed within these 24 hours, we've had some very cold weather, but otherwise nothing new has been introduced. I unplugged everything thing, powered down and restarted everything and nothing worked to correct the problem. The TVs are both new so I know it's not them.
Do you think there is a problem with the Direct TV box?
I have a TV in the den hooked up to a Direct TV box of its own and no problems there.
Would appreciate if someone could shed some light on this problem....
