Don't know anything about overclocking but im willing to learn so will this be necessary or do i not need a cooler for overclocking a little

cpu cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU

Also ssd? they worth the money

ssd: 120GB SATA III 2.5 inch SSD

i would suggest forgoing the SSD and use the money towards a 7870 gpu. SSDs are great for making the overall system snappy but doesn't increase frame rates like a better gpu would.

and that is a great cpu cooler for the price.

Make sure the RAM is low profile to fit under the cooler. I say yes to the ssd. For what it's worth, the only HDDs that I've seen fail recently have been seagates.

Edit: I do like SSDs - getting one later and putting more into gpu may be wise choice - HD7970 or GTX670.

Yeh i will do that then

by low profile do you mean this?

Corsair 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Low Profile Vengeance Memory

that will do and your rig as spec'd will last a few years w/o any problems. (getting a better gpu helps with that!)

i just looked about your cpu cooler and its fine.
I've just done a similar build with this case
i5 2500k, asus p8z68 v LX, kingston hyperx 8gb (2x4), + coolermaster v6 gt. . .
my v6 GT touches the side without fans! but its a nice snug fit !

now the VT 6 is 164 mm tall and the EVO is 158.5 mm you won't have much room but it will fit.
