Hello, I have an HP computer (high end -h8-1080t) with a radeon 6850 card with 2 DVI, 1 HDMI and 2 Display ports. I bought it to run 3-4 monitors and bought 2 initially from HP. These have worked great for ~5 months. I have now added the third monitor and can only get two of the three to run under any configuration. I have tried 2 DVI and 1 HDMI, then 2 DVI and 1 Display port (with active connector) to an HDMI monitor. The computer recognizes all three of the monitors however it will only allow me to operate only two of the three at any time. I have called HP and so far they have not been of much help. Does anyone know how to configure the computer to run 3 montors? Thanks in advance.

I believe it's supposed to be DVI 1, then HDMI, then a displayport (with an active DP to DVI connector if you need it)

Hey, welcome to toms!

First off, it will only work with 2 DVI 1 DP / 1 DVI 1 HDMI 1 DP. It is impossible to connect 2 DVI and HDMI natively. Are you attempting to set up Eyefinity or windows extended desktop?
